The day I got flushed down the toilet
It didn’t go terribly well
My mum was on the boilit
And my sister was playing with gel
My dad was in the tool shed
Looking for a brush
And then came the sound of a long despairing flush
Down in the sewer
Full of manure
It really really smelt
When I reached the ocean
I let out a big SHOUT
And found myself in the fountain
Swimming with the trout
There was a pig
who wore a wig
a wig the color of wine
whenever he read
the animals said
wigs are never so fine

The Golden Ring.
One evening in spring, I found a golden ring
I tried to pick it up, but it was stuck
In the muck
So I called my mum, she came on the run,
We pulled and we pulled
But it just didn’t budge,
Just like it was stuck in hard chocolate fudge
So I called my dad
He went mad
We pulled and we pulled
But it just didn’t budge
Just like it was stuck in hard chocolate fudge
So we called my sisters
Those nasty blisters
We pulled and we pulled
But it just didn’t budge
Just like it was stuck in hard chocolate fudge
Then out of the house, stumbled a mouse
We called the mouse from out of the house
And we pulled and we pulled
And out of the ground with a whizz and a bang
Out the ring sprang
Up in the air
And landed on a chair,
Next to the mouse that had stumbled out of the house
And that sunny evening in spring
I gave the mouse the golden ring
I tried to pick it up, but it was stuck
In the muck
So I called my mum, she came on the run,
We pulled and we pulled
But it just didn’t budge,
Just like it was stuck in hard chocolate fudge
So I called my dad

Little Pipid Piper
Little pipid piper had a horrid sneeze
so he went to the dairy maid and asked for some cheese
the dairy maid said no because he never said please
so little pipid piper had a horrid sneeze.
Little pipid piper had a horrid sneeze
so he went to the gardener and asked for some peas
but the gardener said no because he never said please
so little pipid piper had a horrid sneeze.
Little pipid piper had a horrid sneeze
so he went to the dog and asked for some fleas
but the dog said no because he never said please
so little pipid piper had a horrid sneeze.
Little pipid piper had a horrid sneeze
so he went to the doctor and took some pills from the pill concocter
the doctor said well blind me urd
and soon the wretched boy was cured.

Pebbles the river and bridge
Once upon a time there lived a girl named Grace. She lived with her mother and father who cut wood from the huge neighbouring forest to build plantations. So the forest was not bigger than a wood. Now Grace was sixteen many Caribbean and African slaves were being bought to plant and harvest for the rest of their days. She felt sorry for them so she decided to do something but what?
When Grace was twenty two she has a plan this is how it happened. She was walking along the river when she came to a patch pebbles. Grace picked one up and kept it. Then she came to a bridge but as she reached the edge she and dropped the pebble off the edge. She fetched her net and fished it out this taught Grace there’s always a way.
Grace ran home and opened her diary and wrote down her plan this is what she wrote.
I will go and buy some slaves but then I get home I take their chains and say help me dig a hole under the river then break the bridge and fill the hole with mud. So she bought and un-chained slaves
It took twenty days a twenty nights before it was finished as they sang this song may freedom come soon in this wonderful moon we sing this song because things could go wrong on this starry starry Night. When the hole was finished Grace told all the slaves that thirty slaves would leave each night.
Then when the slaves went though she would fill the hole with stones and cover it with mud. Her parent’s thought they were going mad each day they had less slaves. Graces plan went very well the slaves were honoured her and made her queen and named their city after her. For many years after she died slaves told this story.
And that was the story of the pebbles the river and the bridge.

PLACES
Places to go places to think
Places to use as an ice skating rink.
Places to jump places to hop
There are even some places we use to
Shop.
Some places are light others are dark
Some places are like a walk in the
Park.
But my favorite place is snug up in
Bed put down the book good night
Sleepy head zzz.

Midnight Ghost
The wind was racing like galloping horses, lightning struck and then it started to rain. I was scared I wanted to go home, but I must get there, everyone was counting on me to save our country from the ghost.
Twit twoo, an owl close by, I was flying but what had grabbed me? Its midnight. I was getting used to the dark, the creature dropped me in the briars I had broken my ankle. I found a long stick and used it to walk. I came to a door, I was tired, I knocked twice then I heard foot steps then the door to the invisible house creaked open.
“Help” someone cried then silence, what had happened? I stepped inside, BANG, the door slammed shut. A ghostly figure moved then something with huge teeth appeared from under the floor, then a second later it disappeared and then the ghostly figure appeared again this time it spoke.
“Find the shelf with the little green elf,
Read the book, and RUN”
So the next day I searched the library, I looked for the book, then I found and read it. This is what it said.
Find the invisible door, push the read book and then you go, find the poison and give it to the beast.
So I found a red floating book on the invisible door it took dangerously long to find. It was too late the monster came back and disappeared. I pushed the book only 12 hours left. It took 11 hours to find the poison, one hour left. I ate my snake pie quickly at dinner, and then the monster came. I dripped the poison into its mouth when it opened it and tried to eat me, then it turned into a …young girl.
“Thank you” she said “for freeing me from the curse lets be friends” and they lived in the invisible house happily ever after.
